October ’14 Top 10
Summer may now be truly over but we’ve still been rinsing some sunshine soaked house tracks here at Lava Lava during October.
Nothing rivals the brand new album from Sean McCabe on Z Records for these vibes, so of course he made the cut for our Top 10. Keeping in tone with his sick track ‘Something About You‘, with stunning vox from Jennifer Wallace, is the BimBamBom remix of Flaunt and Blende‘s cut on the brand new remix package of Kraak & Smaak‘s album on Jalapeno Records.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Lava Lava Top 10 without some massive tech-house tracks. KiNK‘s remix of ‘Fever‘ has been out for a solid few months now, but it is an absolute gem. More huge tracks from Walker & Royce and Copy Paste Soul have really impressed us here, as well as the excellent French Fries remix of XXXY. Taking our Number 1 spot though is the latest brainchild from the on-fire collab of our own Resident Barrientos & fellow Glaswegian and country gentleman Illyus. Fresh out on Glasgow Underground, ‘Need Me‘ is a peak time secret weapon of epic proportions.
