Max Chapman – Reminisce

Resonance Records has been releasing dancefloor focused house since its inception in 2012, with the likes of No Artificial Colours, Waifs & Strays, Dale Howard, wAFF, DJ W!ld and Anek all making appearances on the roster.  Now for their next release the label founder himself, Max Chapman, delivers four energetic house cuts in his ‘Killa Sound‘ EP set for release in May.

When not pouring his heart into his imprint  Max is a respected producer in his own right and has released and remixed on the likes of Lost Records, Cr2, Tenampa and Sleazy Deep.

All of the tracks on this brand new release from the head honcho have been crafted as absolute weapons to be used for a devestating dancefloor effect.  Our pick of the bunch however is the last cut on the release ‘Reminisce’.  A real bass fuelled number, this track has shuffling and punchy percussion, hypnotic atmospherics, chopped vocals and delicate pad hits.  Essentially, it has everything you need for a peak time groover.

You can get a copy of the ‘Killa Sound’ EP from Max Chapman when it drops on his own Resonance Records on 11th May.  Consider this one a must-have release.
