Vince Watson – Flamenca

Glaswegian producer Vince Watson has just dropped his summer-time Balearic single ‘Flamenca’ for the well-renowned New York label Nervous.  Fresh off the back of his 4-track ‘Eminesence’ EP on Yoruba, supported by the likes of Francois K, Roy Davis Jr, Mr G and Butch, Vince Watson has delivered a hot single that’s begging to be played out on summer Festival afternoons.

2014 saw the producer release on Cocoon, Planet E, Poker Flat and even the 250th release on Philadelphia‘s Ovum.  Having tracks featured on almost 15 releases this year so far and a live TED Amsterdam appearance lined up for the winter, Watson is very much a producer on fire

‘Flamenca’ really is getting rinsed thoroughly here at Lava Lava.  The rhythmic percussion bounces off the jazzy chords nicely while atmospheric strings add a gorgeous deeper element to the track. As the track moves on more animated keys take centre stage creating an upbeat vibe that contrasts with the smooth, deep bassline.
