WhoMadeWho – Heads Above (Moe & Joe + Dave Remix)

Although relatively fresh to the producing scene, the Munich-based duo of Moritz Butschek & Johannes Tochtermann, a.k.a Moe & Joe, are no strangers to the vibrant German music scene, having had residencies at Ruby Bar and Pimpernel.

When the duo aren’t keeping the crowds entertained in Munich they’re working alongside the highly influential German record labels Gomma and Toy Tonics.  When they have any free time after all of this they put the hours in at the studio and this remix here of WhoMadeWho‘s track Heads Above is the most recent fruit of their labours.  Warm and mellow church organs flow throughout the song with dreamy guitar picks and a playful bassline driving the track forward.  The highlight of this track though is the lovely vocals from the Danish vocalist Tomas Høffding, which really just brings all of the individual elements together.
