Liam Geddes – Right Path To Pray

Returning to Music is Love for his third outing is the rising British producer Liam Geddes.  With his previous two releases earning wide acclaim, his forthcoming ‘Right Path To Pray’ EP comprises 4 originals and is a dubby affair with a consistent rhythm & deep feel throughout that’s bound to do the damage.

Kicking the release off is ‘Song For New’.  In essence a very minimal affair, the soft vocal licks play with the bassline and heavy kick to give it a vibe suitable for almost all scenarios.  ‘Right Path’ shifts things up a gear with a skip and kick drum that creates an infectious groove.  A truly diverse track that ebb’s and weaves into a euphoric hazy dance floor bomb.

The third track has that sound that’s pretty much became Liam’s trademark, with his insatiable mix of driving sonics pushing his perfectly swung house beats.  ‘Prey To Watch’ has a sophisticated sound that blurs the line between Tech and Deep House.  Rounding the release off is the dusty house cut ‘So Many Needs’.  A luscious track with a soulful vocal loop, funky bassline and an old-school organ hook topped off with the crackle and pop of vinyl to give it a warmth that so many other releases lack.
