PREMIERE: Cuartero – Rate 25

Rising Spanish DJ/producer Cuartero makes a return to Wow! Recordings for his latest single, ‘Rate 25’, which also comes packing heat with a remix from Harry Romero.

Since his first release for Crystal Sounds in 2009 Cuartero has been continually developing his output to become one of Spain’s foremost House producers.  Whether an original or a remix, his signature groove and bass-focussed style is instantly captivating.

The first few months of 2017 have seen Cuartero on an incredible run of form, already notching up releases for the likes of Roush, Hot Creations, Saved and Lee Foss’s Repopulate Mars imprint.

His first outing for Mar-T’s celebrated Wow! Recordings came in 2012 and has since released a steady stream of excellent material for them.  Returning again for Wow! in 2017, his brand new single pulls no punches.

‘Rate 25’ lays down powerful shuffling percussion from the outset before kicking in with a chunky bass workout.   Varying percussive elements lead into a breakdown with manipulated vocal samples and swooping atmospherics.  Kicking back in with a robotic synth lick and continually building throughout, ‘Rate 25’ is a no-nonsense peak time groover.

Set for release on Wow! Recordings exclusively for Beatport on the 29th of May, Cuartero’s ‘Rate 25’ is a relentlessly addictive jacking groove and a sure-fire secret weapon.
