PREMIERE: Hosse – Ready For This

Spanish DJ & producer Hosse marks his debut release for Liverpool-based imprint Carpe Diem Musica.  Following a strong run of form in 2016, his ‘Ready For This’ EP is a relentlessly energetic 4-track bomb.

Make no mistake, Hosse is no stranger to the scene.  Having picked up an interest in Jazz, Soul and Funk from his father at an early age, Hosse started dabbling in electronic music and composition in 1999.  Since his first release on Urbana Recordings, the Spanish producer has continually refined and developed his talent to produce sounds that can seamlessly blend between House, Garage and Tech.

Now, having clocked up releases on imprints such as Le Mans, KNM, Toolroom & Domino Effect in 2016, Hosse is ready to make a big openening statement for 2017.

Alongside two sublime original grooves, Hosse’s new EP comes backed with two remixes from Manu Gonzalez & Raffa FL.  Manu provides a retro yet chunky edge to ‘Last Night’ in his 808 Mix while Raffa FL’s remix of ‘Ready For This’ is a gritty, dirty & sweaty tech groove.

For the premiere, ‘Ready For This’ is a tech-house gem.  The swung percussion leads into a bubbling, dark jacking bassline.  The huge kicks throughout make the track even more potent while the distorted vocal samples & heavily filtered breakdowns are sure to drive anyone into a frenzy.

Dropping on Carpe Diem Musica at the end of January, Hosse’s debut release for the imprint is a sure-fire dancefloor destroyer.
