PREMIERE: Mike Denitz – Biscute

The ever reliable Carpe Diem Musica bring the heat this November with a brand new 4 tracker from rising Spanish producer Mike Denitz.

Ever since Capre Diem’s first release back in 2008, the Merseyside-based imprint has gained a head of steam in the underground community and has become known for it’s continual evolution with the ebb and flow of musical trends.  Eight years later and the label has played host to the likes of Ki Creighton, Rich Wakley, Yousef & Cozzy D.

Mike Denitz makes a return to Carpe Diem for his own EP after featuring on the ‘Tracklist Vol. 1’ compilation released in July.  Hailing from Madrid, Mike has hit an excellent run of form recently, notching up 19 releases so far for 2016 alone! He brings his signature sound on his ‘Biscute’ EP, with two club-oriented groovers.

His debut EP for Carpe Diem also features two remixes from ViVA and Materialism favourites Anek and the exciting Greek duo of Nino Santos & Lightem, each bringing their own unique twist to the title track.

For the premiere, title track Biscute is nothing short of a bone shaking groove.  Immediately bursting open with a huge swagger, Mike sets out the tone for the rest of the track with a massive kick and constantly shuffling percussion.  Echoing cut up vocal samples lead you to the grooving bassline and on to the fizzing breakdown.  Mike brings in the full vocal sample alongside moody synths to give the track a natural sense of depth, resulting in a layered and addictive club-ready groove.

Set for release on Carpe Diem Musica on the 21st of November, Mike Denitz’ ‘Biscute’ EP is a serious club weapon.
