STREAM: Midnight Riot Volume 7

London-based label Midnight Riot is releasing it’s 7th volume of their much renowned compilation LPs.  Trust us when we say that this one is stuffed full with crucial basement jams, synth boogie edits and irresistible future disco & soul classic’s.  As to be expected from Midnight Riot, there’s not only tracks from some edit gurus such as Late Nite Tuff Guy, Rayko, 80’s Child & Fingerman but there’s also an array of cuts from new talented producers like Goldboy, Berry Juice, Phil Jaimes & Hi 5 Orchestra.

We’ve managed to get a hold of the full album blended compilation stream for your listening pleasure.  We’ve been really loving the big groovy vibes on 80’s Child‘s track ‘Contagious’ and Mista Shifta‘s synth laced ‘Can’t Lose’.   The mellow and smooth jams from Wish & Consyn, Ro Lo &  Weedyman are absolutely begging to be played out on a beach in the baking heat this summer.  If we had to pick out a favourite from the bunch, it would have to be the airy, punchy and downright funky edit of Luther Vandross‘ track ‘Shine’ from Glenn Groovement.
