Fingerman – Minor Celebrity Funk

All that sunshine over this weekend has put us right in the mood for some funky vibes.  Providing the vibes this time is the Brighton-based producer and all round edit guru Gergg Holmes, a.k.a Fingerman.

We were lucky enough to have his “Riot Gear” EP sent through on promo last month from Yam Who?’s Midnight Riot imprint.  Released in February, it’s six tracks that are absolutely overflowing with funk, it’s a truly must have for anyone in need of some tracks to play out at this summers festivals.  We’ve been particularly loving Minor Celebrity Funk for it’s truly authentic 80’s feel, driving bass and punchy beats – an absolute groover.
