Walter Ego – CTRL + ATL + DEL

Sheffield-based producer Walter Ego has steadily become one of the finest exports of bass heavy UK house music over the past few years, having racked up releases on Toddla T’s Girls Music and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records.  This September will see Walter Ego add another leading imprint to his affiliations with his up-coming release on the always on-point 2020Vision label.

The ‘CTRL + ALT + DEL’ EP, which is set for release on the 11th of September, sees Walter Ego present his signature rough and ready house style with a more contemporary pop appeal. Fusing an amalgamation of soulful vocal lines, chuggy bass hooks and hypnotic atmospherics Walter Ego creates a classy modern house number with a widespread appeal.

On the remix duties for the title track is one of our favourite British duos, the on-fire PBR Streetgang, who turn in a more understated take on the original cut, with ethereal pads and filtered vocal chops.
