Adventures In Daydreams – Spirits of the Forrest EP

The debut single from the collaborative guise of Tact co-founder Richard ‘RJ’ Fletcher and Alex Brown, Adventures In Daydreams, was dropped on Tact Recordings last month.  The 4 track “Spirits of the Forrest” EP sees the duo skilfully fusing an amalgamation of styles from house and techno through to bass and post-dubstep.

Although the whole EP is alive with a raw tech house feel, the stand out track for us is ‘Saw Erect’.  In this track, RJ & Alex Brown embrace a raw and rugged feel with warbling synth lines, smooth atmospherics and growling saw-wave bass tones
